Three engines, unlimited possibilities – the AGCO Power CORE family of off-road engines highlights the versatility of the CORE platform

When AGCO Power started to design its all-new CORE engine platform several years ago, the idea was to create a flexible, modular and future-proof off-road engine – the most advanced in the market. The first CORE engine released, CORE75, was granted the Engine of the Year award in 2023. Since then, two new CORE engines have been created in different power classes of heavy machinery.

Following the release of the latest CORE80 engine, Agritechnica 2025 was the first event to feature a tractor powered by CORE80: the Fendt 800 Vario. In this video, Markus Iivonen, Module Lead Engineer at AGCO Power, talks us through the different CORE engines – CORE50, CORE75 and CORE 80. To further emphasize the flexibility of the CORE platform, the CORE50 engine is a hydrogen mild hybrid variant.

Join Markus as he shows how one well-designed platform can open unlimited possibilities as we make internal combustion engines more efficient, more economical and more sustainable.
